Genius occurs as series of computer role-playing games that were popular in the 1980s. Originally mass produced for the Apple II, they were late ported to more platforms. A latest game in the series, Wizardry 8, is available only for Windows.

History

Genius began as a elementary dungeon crawl by Andrew C. Greenberg and Robert Woodhead. It was written while it were students at Cornell University and then published by Sir-Tech.
